Jungle Brothers

SHARE EVENT:

Jungle Brothers, pioneers of the fusion of jazz, hip-hop and house music, burst onto the music scene in 1988 with debut album, Straight out the Jungle featuring club hit single “I’ll House You”. Fostered by Kool DJ Red Alert, the Jungle Brothers success would pave the way for De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, and the collective they founded, NYC based Native Tongues. Together, the 3 groups would form the core of the collective. Later the crew was joined by Queen Latifah, Moni Love, Black Sheep, and Chi-Ali, and collaborators such as Common, Mos Def, The Roots, and others. During the Jungle Brothers career they have released 9 albums, and continue to tour worldwide entertaining sellout crowds. Their 30th Anniversary celebrates 3 decades of the iconic group’s contribution and continuous success.
