GRISELDA Westside Gunn, Conway & Benny "The ALMIGHTY Tour"
About Westside Gunn
Bringing the sounds of ’90s hardcore rap into the 21st century, Buffalo-bred rapper Westside Gunn emerged as an underdog from the underground alongside his brother and fellow emcee, Conway. With their tales of street life, drugs, and gun violence, the pair employed sample-heavy production that resurrected the gritty East Coast style of the Lox, Mobb Deep, Capone-N-Noreaga, and the Wu-Tang Clan. In addition to his work with Conway and their Griselda labelmates, Westside Gunn branched out on his own with a series of mixtapes issued in the 2010s, as well as solo albums Flygod (2016) and Supreme Blientele (2018).
Demond Price, better known by his stage name Conway, is an American rapper from Buffalo, New York. He is the brother of fellow rapper Westside Gunn. Price is signed to Westside Gunn’s record label, Griselda Records, and has released his entire discography on the label. In 2017, Shady Records signed a distribution deal with Griselda for Westside Gunn and Conway’s work, making the two the first rappers from Buffalo to achieve major label distribution.
Benny is an underground rapper who’s risen to fame as 1/3 of the Griselda Records rap crew along with his cousins Westside Gunn and Conway the Machine. He’s released five albums and collaborated on several mix tapes.
